Controlling your Costs

NGV wants to make it easy for you to control your costs so you don’t spend more on your telecommunications services than you can afford.  We’ve listed below some of the ways that you can stay in control of your costs.


Residential Customers

All of our broadband plans are “shaped” once you reach your plan’s included data limit.  This means that we slow down the speed at which you access the internet to 32 kbps once you have reached your data limit.  If you want to keep using the internet at your normal speed, you can top up your data by purchasing a data block.

Your broadband usage is counted as downloads only – any data used for uploads does not count towards your data limit.

Once you have reached your data limit or the usage period during which the data must be consumed has passed, you will no longer be able to use your service.  When you connect to the wifi you will be directed to a portal which will enable you to purchase additional data.

The amount of data you have used will show in your main window each time you log on to the NGV wifi service.


Home Phones

NGV makes it easy to keep your costs down with our low cost monthly line rental, and included internal calling within your complex.

If you want to check the cost of calls that you have made that we haven’t billed you for yet, please contact us on 1800 007 NGV (1800 007 648) during operating hours (8:30 – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays).  Please note that call records are not available in real time and may be delayed by more than 24 hours.
